Why you need to run.
Become an Athlet.
If you haven't started running, start now.
We humans are built to run. We're endurance hunters.
Despite the health benefits, there are mental benefits that can't be underestimated.
Running is like taking drugs, only the other way around.
You feel terrible while you do it, but you feel great afterwards.
Going through that long-term pain, just putting one step in front of the other, teaches you to be consistent and to keep going because you know it will be worth it in the end.
2 months ago I ran my first half marathon. One of the hardest things I've ever done physically (I didn't train enough and didn't have enough carbs for energy), but the feeling after crossing the finish line was something else. In terms of sports, one of the most important feelings I have ever had.
I realized what is possible with the pure power of your mind and that every struggle I'll ever go through will be worth it in the end if I just never stop.
Best lesson you’ll ever learn.
Running teaches you these lessons and makes your mind stronger and more resistance.
It is one of the best sports to learn mental endurance and push yourself beyond your limits.
